Introduction

How Widespread is Climate Change?

So how widespread and imminent is climate change really? As many people may already know, climate change is a global issue. Worldwide human activities are affecting the concentration of CO2 in the earth’s atmosphere. This change in climate has been on the rise almost exponentially since the industrial revolution. According to many scientists, the earth is on track to warm by 0.5°C within the next 10 years. The issue does not only affect mankind on a total and global scale, but must be addressed soon because climate change is becoming more serious as time goes on and can lead to several permanent consequences to wildlife and our life.
